Ventersburg is a small town situated in the Lejweleputswa region of Free State Province in South Africa. It was established in 1857 on a farm named Kromfontein after the death of the owner, PA Venter. During the apartheid era, black people were forced leave Ventersburg and live in a location named Mamahabane.
